February 12th: Our first impact screening of our work-in-progress, hosted by Rush/MD Andersen Cancer Center.

What made the evening especially meaningful was the space it created.

Women — and men — shared their own stories, questions, and reflections. There was honesty, vulnerability, and real dialogue between patients, advocates, and medical professionals.

This is what impact looks like.

Re/Construction isn’t just a film — it’s a catalyst for conversation around informed consent, body autonomy, and how we can build systems of care rooted in dignity and respect.

We wish to thank Drs. Ahmed, Rynar, and Shenaq for generously sharing your wisdom and perspective during the panel discussion that followed.

And thank you to Rush Philanthropy for hosting the event and reception. We’re deeply grateful for your partnership. Thank you to everyone who showed up and shared your voices. It was an incredible experience.

If you’re part of a medical institution, advocacy organization, university, or community group and would like to host an impact screening, we’d love to connect.
